They go to different clubs and put on workshops for organizers of carnival groups, wanting to learn new and different costume building skills. A workshop will include the following:

Introduction of tutors


Discussion on what types of activities can be used in a carnival i.e. processions, floats etc. 


Discussion on how to get an idea for a design and how this can be put into action.


How to start the creation of costumes, hands-on skills of 3D mask making, foam, sculpting, tabards and body decoration. These skills will vary to suit timing of workshops.

Health and Safety issues of a carnival float / procession. Questions from group and feedback.


The above sets out all the that is needed to know when putting together a float / procession. The workshop is a very friendly and relaxed environment. The Renegade members are hard workers, but once you have been shown and taught under their tuition, you will see why Rampage are the most renowned carnival group in the UK. Depending on what is involved, a workshop could last anything form a 1 day session to 1 week.
